Maddie, as she is known, brings a unique combination of clinical and legal expertise to Channel Wellness. With extensive experience as a clinician, clinical consultant, and attorney, she has served as Executive Director and Director for three nationally renowned programs for clients with addiction and related disorders. Maddie has also held key positions with several internationally based behavioral healthcare organizations.


In her dual capacity as attorney and therapist, Maddie combines her passion for clinical and legal advocacy to support those suffering from addictions and co-occurring disorders. Her career highlights include serving as a clinical consultant and expert witness for London-based Integrated Care Management Ltd., was a representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, providing therapy to survivors and families of victims of the September 11 terrorist attack, and working as an attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.


Maddie’s decades of clinical experience, including the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder caused by political and economic-induced violence, have reinforced her belief that effective clinical care should be grounded in holistic, somatic-based practices alongside evidence-based protocols. She earned her BA from Columbia College, her MS from the Columbia University School of Social Work, and her JD from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. Maddie also received additional clinical training at the Department of Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital and the London School of Breathwork.


Her commitment to education extends to supervising graduate students from Columbia University and Middlesex University. Maddie’s volunteer work spans various institutions, including Lawyers’ Assistance programs, philanthropic organizations, and for-profit businesses, showcasing her dedication to diverse communities.
