Loraine was born and educated in England and has held director and management positions in marketing and sales for globally renowned companies. Additionally, her wide-ranging business background includes management and ownership of premier riding stables, both in Europe and the United States, where Loraine was herself an equine instructor. She is credentialed as a Certified Addictions Professional, an Internationally Certified Addictions Professional, and a Shivananda-trained yoga teacher. Loraine graduated summa cum laude from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a BA in Psychology.
Loraine’s passion for helping those afflicted with addiction and related disorders has led to a career that encompasses over two decades of experience working in the behavioral healthcare field. She has held director positions with some of the field’s most highly regarded addiction treatment providers and has transferred her business skills to this work, making these programs patient-centered, culturally relevant, and highly effective.
Loraine’s clinical focus reflects the belief that individuals and their families deserve every chance to recover from the many adversities that addiction brings. With her experience in both business and behavioral healthcare, she brings a practical and diverse skill set to support recovery efforts at Channel Wellness.
